Northwestern Legal Services (NWLS) is celebrating 50 years of providing free civil legal aid to low-income residents in the 10 northwestern counties of Pennsylvania. Our main office is located in the Renaissance Centre in downtown Erie, and we also have five branch offices in Meadville, Bradford, Hermitage, Franklin and Warren.
NWLS handles many civil matters, some include consumer law, mortgage foreclosures, family law, public benefits terminations and denials, utility terminations, unemployment compensation, expungements of records, housing evictions and denials
